First held in 1955, the event is run by the Institute for Public Works Engineering Australia (NSW division) and has grown tremendously over the years.
Exhibitors at CIVENEX include Tyco Water, Sewer Equipment Company Australia (SECA) and JB Sales International.
“Suppliers of a wide range of equipment, products and services to the construction and infrastructure industries are lining up in strength to participate in CIVENEX 2010,” said organiser Frank Sticka.
“Space bookings to date are ahead of this time last year and many exhibitors have requested larger exhibition areas. We’re also seeing new suppliers booking space who were visitors last year. It’s a sign that the industry is taking advantage of the positive outlook and want to be seen by customers,” Mr Sticka said.
Polaris will be showing its new Ranger HD. Peter Alexander, Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand said “The new Ranger line up is the most significant and extensive product introduction in Ranger history. The new HD adds features that take the vehicle to a whole new level of utility and comfort.”
All Stake Supply will be showing two new products that are said to speed up production, boost volumes, reduce failure rates and lower the cost of planting out large projects. Locally formulated and manufactured Terraform Plant Establisher and Terraform OceanComplex are “great for healthy plants and even better for a healthy bottom line,” said All Stake Supply Managing Director Stephen Holt.
