The Brewis 540 US ton swivel was introduced in response to demand from the increasing number of companies operating maxi rigs and it uses the latest bearing technology in order to keep the outside diameter as small as possible whilst maximising the ultimate dynamic capacity.

The Brewis range of pull back swivels vary from 8 US tonnes to 540 US tonnes. The range is currently being updated to take advantage of the latest bearing technology.

The company has also added a new variant of duct puller suitable for use with Fusible C-900™ which is ideal in its chlorinated state for insertion using the pipe burst method. The successful trials and development were in cooperation with Underground Solutions and Murphy Pipeline Contractors working for Orange County Municipal Water Authority.

The Brewis Group specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of tooling and accessories for the trenchless and pipeline industries. In 1984, Brewis invented and launched the Brewis Standard Towing Head which is available in imperial and metric sizes up to 40 inches (1,000 mm) in diameter.
