Sydney Water Corporation is inviting tenders for the Sewer/Stormwater Rehabilitation Program 2012-16 to procure delivery of the rehabilitation works over a four year period.

Based on Sydney Water’s licensing requirements and commitments, two contracts may be awarded to investigate and rehabilitate sewer/stormwater pipes in selected catchments.

The major activities involved in this tender are:

  • The design, manufacture, supply, installation and testing of structural liners for approximately 18 km per year of reticulation sewer pipes up to 300 mm in diameter, at approximately 1,000 different locations within Sydney Harbour, Hawkesbury/Nepean, Georges River and Illawarra wastewater areas
  • The design, manufacture, supply, installation and testing of structural liners for approximately 2.5 km per year of carrier sewer pipes between 375 mm to 900 mm in diameter, at approximately 100 different locations within Sydney Harbour, Hawkesbury/Nepean, Georges River and Illawarra wastewater areas
  • The design, manufacture, supply, installation and testing of structural liners for approximately 0.5 km of stormwater pipes of up to 1,300mm in diameter, at approximately various different locations within Sydney Water’s area of operations.

Sydney Water will award a contract to a tenderer who has an approved rehabilitation system including lining and lateral sealing. Sydney Water can award one or more contracts. Contracts will be awarded to tenderers with the most appropriate tender offer providing the best value for money for Sydney Water.
