East Coast Pipe Supplies has recently been involved in the Gateway Upgrade Project in Brisbane and, in late 2008, supplied piling to the construction of a new wharf in PNG. They are supplying large diameter pipe to the trenchless sector for projects such as the Ipswich Motorway Upgrade.
With a yard located in Zillmere, East Coast Pipe Supplies stock project quantities of steel pipe ranging in size from 76.1 mm OD (2-1/2”) through to 610 mm (24”) OD, in various wall thicknesses, and can source project quantities of pipe if it is not available off the shelf. Operations Manager Stewart Anderson, commenting on the company's stock holdings in its yard said “Our current stock is in excess of 7,000 tonnes, so we are very well placed to support any large projects that may be going around.”
The company focuses on supplying the piling, construction, drilling, merchant and CSG/CSM markets throughout Australia and South East Asia.
