This new unit is capable of hydro excavation and retrieving both wet and dry spoil, and incorporates all of the standard features of vacuum excavation and remediation units into its production.
The system has been designed specifically for large, demanding projects such as slot trenching, excavation for meter box installation, or other instances where large amounts of spoil will be encountered.
It is powered by a 36 HP diesel engine with idle-down feature that automatically powers the unit to idle when the water is not in use, a 575 CFM blower – the most powerful in the industry in its size range – and an exclusive three-stage filtration system, consisting of a cyclone separator with 2 micron washable final filter, eliminating the cumbersome draining and cleaning of a full size bag house with expensive multiple filters. This unique filtration system allows the unit to vacuum both wet and dry spoil without fear of damage to the blower.
Both the 800 and 1,200 gallon units can be upgraded to high CFM (1025) heavy duty units. High CFM units, using a 4 inch diameter suction hose, can increase the volume of material recovered by over 60 per cent. Other options include a hydraulic boom and sewer jetter combination.
