Chris has been with Kembla Watertech as the manager of the Victorian Division for the last three years and is now the Business Development Manager for Water and Pressure Pipeline Renewals.

Prior to that Chris spent 14 years working for City West Water and Melbourne Water in numerous roles related to the planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance of water and sewer assets.

Chris replaces outgoing councillor Chris Geehman, South East Water’s Manager for Major Projects and Renewals, who is retiring. Chris Geehman worked for more that 30 years with various water authorities in Victoria including the State Rivers & Water Supply Commission (later the Rural Water Corporation), Mornington Peninsula & District Water Board, Melbourne Water, and now South East Water Limited. Chris Geehman was a driving force in the ASTT in recent times and his services to the industry are greatly appreciated.

Chris Frangos brings many years of experience with both an authority and a contractor to the role, giving him a varied perspective of the industry, and he has long been a strong advocate of Trenchless Technology. He will be speaking at Trenchless Australasia magazine’s March seminar – ‘Trenchless Technology – A Day in the Life’ in Sydney.
