The first tender was released by the Hawkesbury City Council, who seek a structural sewer liner for specified sewer mains. The contract would involve the inspection, design, manufacture, supply and delivery to site, installation and testing of the sewer liner, and include patch repairs to the sewer mains.

The tender also states that replacement of some lampholes with new concrete manholes and localised dig and repair works will also need to be undertaken prior to the structural lining.

The Council’s stormwater drainage system includes a large number of assets that are largely inaccessible due to their size, buried locations and restricted entry conditions. In order to update and maintain an accurate record of the condition of these stormwater drainage assets, the Council propose to purchase CCTV equipment to carry out these surveys by Council staff.
