Queensland Urban Utilities’ work to rehabilitate and reline the sewerage pipe network in Hamilton, Brisbane is underway, with works in MacArthur Drive recently commencing.
The project is a part of Queensland Urban Utilities’ Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation Program, which will improve the reliability of the network and extend the operational life of trunk sewers in Brisbane by 50 years.
As part of the project, QUU will rehabilitate and reline severely deteriorated trunk sewers in a number of other areas across Brisbane including:
Oxley Road and Oxley Creek, leading up to the Corinda Golf Course
Nudgee Road, from Kingsford Smith Drive to the Brisbane Grammar School playing fields, Northgate
Bulimba Creek through the Hemmant Recreational Reserve, Tingalpa
Bulimba Creek, from Meadowlands Road Carindale to Wecker Road, Mansfield
