J Hvidtved Larsen A/S has applied for a patent for the newly developed CityFlex® - a combined sewer cleaning vehicle especially developed to accommodate the increasing need for compact mobile jetting and suction solutions in urban areas with narrow streets, low accessibility and weight restrictions.
“This is one of the most brilliant units we have developed during my 25 years with the company. The need for a small unit like the CityFlex is obvious, and in addition, the CityFlex creates a number of neighbouring markets in which the globalisation fully benefits our company as well as our customers. We expect that the CityFlex will account for a fundamental part of our product range in the future,” says managing director Søren Hvidtved Larsen.
The CityFlex is a small truck with a great future, and it will be presented at exhibitions in Denmark and Scandinavia, Russia, Australia, North America and the United Kingdom as well as on demo tours.
“With a number of CityFlex204 units sold to Australian customers already, we are convinced that the flexibility and quality of JHL sewer cleaning units suit the conditions and demands that signify the Australian market perfectly. We also see good market potentials for the other JHL units such as the FlexLine®, the RECycler® and the MaskoFlex®,” says SECA General Manager Mark Quealy.
Article continues below…The CityFlex is a result of the ongoing efforts to fulfil the requirements for a continued maintenance of sewer systems in larger cities despite increasing weight restrictions. The unit is manufactured using new alternative, but very strong materials that allow a high payload. Furthermore, the unit has been designed to have a low centre of gravity providing the unit with a very good road grip making it easy to manoeuvre, also in narrow areas.
