Kembla Watertech is currently carrying out maintenance and repairs to the sewer pipes within Ballina Shire in New South Wales.
The work is part of a rehabilitation plan issued by Ballina Shire Council to improve the sewerage system, and will include:

- CCTV inspection of the main sewer pipes both before and after the work
- Cleaning of sewer pipes
- Installation of structural liners
This work will be carried out over a period of approximately three months for Richmond Valley and six months for Ballina, and will involve several visits to properties with maintenance holes.
Each activity will take at least one day and will be carried out by a specialist crew.
