The James Bond-themed evening was supported by prominent trenchless companies including Interflow, Veolia, John Holland, and Insituform, all of which were Gold Sponsors.

Attendees showed their support by bidding in a silent auction and a live auction. The silent auction included a wide range of prizes, including art works, holidays, books and luxury items. The live auction included priceless opportunities, such as lunch with the managing director of Sydney Water, Kevin Young, and other important personnel from the water utility.

Attendees were generous in showing their support and the event raised a substantial amount of funds that will be put towards ensuring some of the world’s poorest people have access to safe drinking water and effective sanitation.

In 2010–2011, WaterAid provided more than 5,000 people in Papua New Guinea with clean water and more than 11,000 people with sanitation.
