Keynote Breakfast – Asset Management 8-9 am
In his presentation, Neil Rickard, Divisional Manager of Infrastructure Planning at Yarra Valley Water will outline Yarra Valley Water’s asset management plan – what is involved, how plans are developed, the budgets, and the opportunities for Trenchless Technologies, including how they have been successful for Yarra Valley Water. Breakfast will be provided.

HDD toolbox session 2 pm–3.30 pm
Nepean HDD Intersect River Crossing
Andy Saunders from Codmah will be talking about the first NSW HDD intersect, detailing equipment used, how problems were overcome, and lessons learnt from the impressive 642 m main installation.
HDD on the New South Wales Appin Wastewater Scheme
UEA’s Jonathan de Vos will be speaking with Sydney Water on the New South Wales Appin Wastewater Scheme.
The scheme is part of the NSW Government’s Priority Sewerage Program (PSP), which involved the construction of a new pressure sewerage reticulation and transfer system to service approximately 500 properties.
Gladstone Harbour HDD Intersect
Coe Drilling’s Eamon Foley will be speaking about the highly publicised Queensland Gladstone to Curtis Island pipeline, which is part of the Curtis Island Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Project, and the first Australian HDD intersect. Mr Foley will be co-presenting with Chris Donnelly from GHD, who is representing the client, the Gladstone Area Water Board.
