The new Vermeer flex-angle D 20 x 22 FX is primarily designed for the growing geothermal heating and cooling market. The flex-angle drill unit allows the contractor to install loops horizontally, vertically, and step angles, plus bore in the lines from the loop field in the building. The D 20 x 22 FX is capable of entry angles of 18 degrees to 90 degrees. It is also a fully functional HDD for conventional utility installations. Vermeer said that, with 20,000 lbs of thrust/pullback and 2,200 lbs of rotational torque with standard 25 GPM or optional 100 GPM mud pump the Vermeer D 20 x 22 FX is the most revolutionary drill featured at Trenchless Live 2010.

Vermeer vacuum excavation

The Vermeer V 100, V250 V 800 vacuum excavators are packed with features that make these vac units the most productive and operator friendly vacs on the market. All units feature left hand side mounted controls, automatic spoil tank shut off, low water shut off and in tank clean out. Using industry leading ROOTS blowers producing 575 CFM or 1025 CFM combined with Kubota diesel or Honda petrol engines the Vermeer vac units are leading the way in Vacuum excavation.
