“This work will continue to provide major water and wastewater services to thousands of homes and is due to be completed by next month,” Mr Pearce said.

The investment in maintaining and upgrading water and wastewater systems in the region is part of a broader $A177.3 million spend across Sydney Water’s water distribution systems and sewer networks for 2012-13.

Mr Pearce said when completed, the work will result in vital infrastructure for one of the fastest growing regions in the state.
